I begin most of my work with an emotional response or question I want to arise in the viewer, through surreal symbolism and a heightened chromatic sensibility, a narration unfolds through every intentional brushstroke. I collage images depicting sensationalized vignettes of my own lived experiences and pose themes of ontology, autonomy, incorporeality, and absurdity. The message I want to get across is more so the question “Who am I?” or “What are We?” through explosions of color, raw vulnerability, dark subversive reality, Dionysian grandiosity, and unapologetic queer joy.
